Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Programs
Academic requirements (All Undergraduate Program)
- Applicants must pass S.S.C or equal exam during 2015-2017 and H.S.C/diploma/equivalent in 2017-2019.
- Minimum GPA of 3.50 in SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent separately (including additional subject).
- Must have B grade in 5 subjects of O-Level and B grade in 2 subjects of A-Level or Minimum 5 subjects in O-Level and 2 subjects in A-Level with minimum grade of B in 4 subjects and minimum grade of C in 3 subjects from science group.
- Candidates who have completed diploma must complete 4 year course.
Eligibility for applying BSc (Hons) in Food Science and Technology
Candidate must have biology subject in HSC to be eligible for applying in Food Science and Technology. Candidate who has completed diploma in Food Science, Agriculture and relevant courses are qualified for admission.
Eligibility for applying BSc (Hons) in Microbiology
Candidates applying for B.Sc. in Microbiology should pass HSC with biology, diploma in Medical, Health, MATS, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Veterinary or in relevant fields.
Eligibility for applying BSc (Hons) in Agriculture
Candidates applying for B.Sc. in Agriculture should pass HSC with biology, diploma in Agriculture, Medical, Health, MATS, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Veterinary or in relevant fields.
Eligibility for applying BSc (Hons) in Fisheries
Candidates applying for B.Sc. in Fisheries should have passed HSC with biology, diploma in Fisheries, Agriculture, Marine fisheries or in relevant fields.
The applicants will be primarily selected based on the eligibility criterion and submitted documents for respective department. Finally, the candidate will be selected either based on academic merit (GPA) or an entrance examination (VIVA or Written).
