Quality education and research must encompass the practical approaches to identify potential opportunities and meet the demands of the 21st century. Rajshahi Institute of Biosciences (Affiliated to University of Rajshahi) was founded in 2018, with a view to produce graduates equipped with research expertise along with practical know-how to play a pivotal role in promoting bioscience and technology in the region. It is located very close to Rajshahi University campus and beside the Dhaka-Rajshahi highway. Currently, the Institute offers the Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, Fisheries, Microbiology and Food Science and Technology.The primary objective of our institute is to incorporate the instructional and research expertise of our faculty to provide a scholarly atmosphere where students are exposed to a variety of ways to define, analyze, question and solve scientific research problems. The institute will take its place at the forefront of scientific innovation and discovery. With the highest standards of excellence in teaching, research and community involvement, we will forge interdisciplinary partnerships that will transform the discoveries made through the dedicated study of basic biology into applied solutions to overcome global challenges.Our curriculum provides fundamental and advanced interdisciplinary academic and professional enrichment for students who aspire to pursue careers in molecular, genetic, microbial, botanical, ecological and organismal research, as well as those with an interest in medical and health-related professions.
